Engine over heats intermiten. The heat blows cold and the engine temp gets up to 240 if you jump on acc a few tims the temp comes down and the blows hot.
If you run the a/c it will over heat. I replaced the T stat and the serp belt.I think is the water pump or crap in the system? Help !

This is what I would do

I d check coolant level and adjust if needed
check system for leaks pressure check coolant system

check intake and intake gasket if leaking
if missing coolant and cannt find the leak
remove throttle body and inspect the intake manifold by the EGR tube line in
good luck
