WHY WHEN THE TEMP RISE MY ENGINE CUT OFF. BUT AS LONG AS I'M DRIVING WITH OUT STOPPING IT'S FINE, JUST WHEN THE TEMP. RISE OVER HALF WAY. WHEN THAT HAPPEN I HAVE TO LET IT SIT FOR ABOUT AN HOUR OR MORE BEFORE IT WILL START.

Make sure cooling fans are working.

The cooling fan is working just find, I have no ideal what the problem could be.

The gauge or sender could be bad.

Could also be waterpump, or blockage in cooling system.
