My car for the past few weeks has trouble starting up. When I turn the key it tries to start but instead gives a hum noise so I turn the key back & try again. Usually on the 2nd or 3rd try the car starts perfect without no problems. The car was checked at the dealership & came back with the Quad Driver Code. The SES (Service Engine Soon) was coming on every now & then. What is wrong with the car? Can it be the starter? I have no clue please help.

Well I started the car this afternoon & had it running on the 2nd try I went to the store to pickup a few items when I got outside the car it refused to start. We had to pull it with a chain to our home. It tries to crank but not fully. We hooked up cables to battery & nothing. My battery is brand new 3 months old. We are going to see if we can fix it tomorrow.
