I cant get the power steering pulley off?

how do i get the side plate off to get to the water pump out. i cant get the power steering pulley off?

Hello,

To get to the power steering pump you will have to remove the passenger side wheel well splash shield. I have attached the replacement procedure of the power steering pump (look below).
You will have to use a special power steering pulley removal tool to get the pulley off. That tool can be rented from any local auto parts store.

This vehicle does not require to have the power steering pump removed in order to get the water pump replaced. See diagram below for reference.
