My car will not start in one crank, I have changed the cold start five times now, and the problem persist. It always does that when its been parked for a long time, like seven hours long either in the morning or during the day. My mechanic suggest I change the engine, which I do not think is the problem.

Try cycling the key three or four times, allow five seconds or so between each cycle. If it starts after this, you will probably have a fuel drain back problem, cycling the key will build up fuel pressure before starting the engine.
