Car stalled while driving

Last night I was driving my car and it stalled. Went to start again and it started but had to keep foot on brake while revving it and then put into drive but really had a hard time trying to keep it going. What could possibly be wrong with my car now. I was wondering if it was the fuel filter. I can still here the fuel pump going so I am certain that isn't the problem.

How is the pressure? Even though you can hear the pump it might not be putting out enough pressure, have the pressure checked and check for any pinched lines.

Could it be possible that the car needs new spark plugs?

I had the car taken in and the problem was: crank sensor, spark plug wires, spark plugs, and ignition coil. My car had three ignition coils. Just thought I would put what was wrong with my car as in hopes it helps someone else that comes across with the same situation.
