Car shutting off while driving

I have a 1990 olds 98 3800 engine. The service light stays on. After a diagnostic chek code 41 appears. Why is the car doing this?

That code is for the cam sensor circuit, could just be a bad cam sensor or might be the wiring to the PCM. Try the sensor first
