My 1994 Cutlass Supreme 3.1lv6 overheats and the heater blows cold. Is it my heater core or is it my thermostat. I think it's my thermostat because coolant stays in the coolant bottle at full hot all the time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

No, who told you there's such thing as fail safe mode on a Stat-enlighten me a lil bit or am I just getting rusty.

The heater is not blowing hot air because the thermostat is shut closed not permitting the coolant to move all over the engine and to heater core.

No no your right with the Stant brand. They don't have a fail safe mode but autozone does sell a fail safe brand type.

Thanks for your help. I'm in the process of draining the coolant as we speak! I appreciate your help.
