Good day, I have no rail pressure and getting diesel until HP pump but nothing from HP pump until rail to feed injectors. Any advice please? Some people said it can be the regulator pressure valve on HP pump and how to test it. Anything can help please.

This is a tough one for us because we don't have a manual on this engine because it is not offered here in the USA.

However, a high-pressure fuel system is the same in the operation as any other high-pressure pump.

So, the way it works is you have low pressure fuel supplied to the high-pressure pump where it is pressurized and sent to the rail.

If you have no fuel coming out of the HP pump, then you have one of two issues.

First is the relief valve (regulator) is stuck causing no fuel flow or routing it back to the tank if you have a return system.

Or the pump has failed and basically blocking the fuel from flowing any further.

More than likely you would have low flow and pressure even if the pump failed. I have not seen a failed HP pump completely block flow, but others say it has happened.

The way to check this is to monitor the operation of the regulator with a scan tool and see what the pressure sensors are reading.

You also should check for codes because most all these systems monitor this and will set a code if there is an issue with them.

Please run through this and let us know if you have a scan tool that can monitor this, and we can go from there. Thanks
