2006 Nissan Sentra Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 21,808 miles

I've only had the car for about a month, I bought it used at a dealership. A few days ago it started squeaking/squealing, especially when I'm stopped. I'm guessing it could be a belt or something but I know nothing about cars. Also, my transmission has been taking longer to change gears. But that's not much of a problem, that could be the source of bad driving, I'm not sure. But I need to drive home, 6 hours away, today, and I was wondering if it would be okay for me to drive it that far, and just get it looked at when I get back?

Do you hear this squealer when you 1st start the car-if so either you adjust the tension or use a belt dressing. If its a belt problem I don't recommend you going for that 6hrs ride-belts can snapped off and cause major problems-Your shot-Good Luck.
