1990 Nissan Sentra won't start

I have 1990 Nissan Sentra and it will only start if you push
gas to floor and if release it little it go dead plus only run
1/4 throttle with to floor. I replace fuel filter go luck

Get these things checked-coolant temperature sensor, Fast Idle control device solenoid valve FICD, and the Auxiliary Air contrl valve, and the idle-up solenoid valve.

Might also want to check the EGR for carbon deposits.
