My son recently aquired this car. We got it home and it wouldn't start, we jusmp started it with jumper cables and then it started. Since then the battery died, we replaced it, the the starter would not engage, (no response when ignition key turned to start position). The car will start if "bump started" but I can't seem to find whats up with the ignition circuit. Is there a clutch safety switch that typically fails or should I look elsewhere?

No crank at all/nothing/nada when key is engage to starting position

Could be the starter, starter relay, clutch switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good. Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
