1998 Nissan Maxima Oil changes

Hi, I have the pleasure of walking to work so I barely ever drive my Maxima. I average less than 3000 miles per year. My question is, should I still be getting an oil change every 3 months, even though I'm not even close to the 3k miles mark? My last oil change was in May 08, and I've gone about 1500 miles since. Should I bring it in?

Its good preventive maintenance bring her in-just make sure the Lube Place put in the correct oil/filter and tightened the oil pan bolt otherwise you gonna run into problems.
