Altima 05 excelaration

I found sometime my altima 05 (64000 mile) does not accelerate very well from stop and go scenarios and sometime gas paddle seems harder. What could be the possible reason(s)? I would appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.

Is your car drive by wire? ( no throttle cable) If so then the TPS on the pedal might be going bad and causing a stiff pedal. If not then look for any obstructions near the pedal and try working the throttle by hand to see if it the problem (engine off)
