MY 2002 NISSAN ALTIMA WITH 87,000MILES HAS BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH A BLOWN HEAD GASKET. I WANTED TO KNOW IF IT WORTH GETTING THE REPAIRS DONE TO IT OR SHOULD I BUY A NEW CAR? TO GET IT FIXED IS 1400.00 IS THIS AROUND THE CORRECT PRICE? THEY ARE ALSO SUGGESTING SINCE THE HEAD GASKET IS BLOWN THAT I SHOULD REPLACE THE WHOLE ENGINE. DO YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD IDEA?

That's too much it only takes 9.5hrs to remove/replace the head gasket, the gasket itself cost $19.00 go somewhere else that can give you a better deal

I figured that was a lot but do you suggest getting it repaired or getting rid of the car?
