You can reuse push rods unless they are bent (as you mentioned) or the tips are mushroomed. Also, if you are changing anything in the lift or duration with the cam then you will want some that match the cam. However, if this is a stock head and the push rods are not damaged in any way then they are just fine to reuse them.

Let us know if you have other questions. Thanks

Thanks a lot. If you don't mind me asking my other 1992 F150 351.L just while ago started charging a lot all the time charging needle pegs out goes almost normal at idle good, battery and alternator only 1 month old. Got me pretty stumped. Had plenty not charge but 1st full time charging?

You are welcome. We are happy to assist with that as well but we need to start a new question for it.

https://www.2carpros.com/questions/new

Unfortunately we need to keep each question to one topic so that when others search for the solutions to the same thing they can find it. Unfortunately they won't find that under a heading about a pushrod.

Just click on the link above and get one started on that issue and we can jump on it. There are a number of us that have worked with Ford for years and years so I am sure we can figure it out. Thanks
