There was a leak in one of the hose sometimes ago, it was fixed and the gas was recharged. So it started blowing cold again, but what I notice is thermostat does not come on again since it was recharged, so the compressor works a lot. Whenever the vehicle is over accelerated in a sudden, the compressor begins to squeal and the cold stop blowing and never recovers until the air conditioner is switched off and turned on again. Could it be the system has been over charged or undercharged? Thanks.

It may have moisture in the system and it was not properly charged. Have a performance check done on it that should show if it's working okay or not. Also in hotter days the belt if separate may be worn as well as tensioner and if one belt both are probably worn because they are slipping.
