1999 Mitsubishi Montero antifreeze fumes

I trying to understand what is the problem and antifreeze fumes go through the heating/air conditioning vents, even when are shut off.
I just want to know what to ask the mechanic, so i can fix the problem

Thank you for the donation,

You will need to ask for a cooling system pressure test to be do, this should be done hot & with the heater on, i would say you have a leak in the heater core.
