2005 Mitsubishi Montero A/C works intermittently

The a/c works intermittently, when I start in the morning its fine, I drive to my office about 10 miles on a very dusty dirt road. When I restart the car the a/c does no come on. The fan does not come on and there is no cold air. The light on the control panel button does not work at this time either. I live in Costa Rica.I just replaced the belt and a circuit board for the fan.
This is a montero gls turbo diesel 2005

If the lights on the control panel does not work, it would more likely to be due to a fault with the wiring circuit. Being intermittent, that is usually caused by poor connections. You need to check the power source and to where the poor connection is.
