1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Car wont start

I tried starting the car it trys to start but wont there IS gas in it and it does have a spark....i had a problem with the alternator belt and changed it and it started a few times after that but i stopped driving it for a few days and tried to start it again and it wont start.....The battery is brand new the car cranks but wont turn over Do you know whats wrong?

Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. You should have between 45 -55 psi. Having gas in the tank does not necessarily mean the pump is working and giving enough pressure to start.
