2000 Mitsubishi Diamante Intermittent miss

Engine runs but misses. Runs good cold. When warm fuel pressure is WAY high. Unhook the maf and it will run again. Replaced maf ran good for a few miles then same thing. Engine will start and run with fuel rail unhooked to allow less pressure. Runs good till it runs out of fuel in the line. Fuel pressure is 100+. Any thoughts.

Thank you for the donation.

Excessive fuel pressure is most probably due to a faulty fuel pressure regulator or clogged/kinked return hoses.

Check if the Fuel Pressure Regulator returns with vacumn applied to vacumn pump.
