1993 mercury villager brake rotors

Could somone please tell me how to remove the front brake rotors on a 1993 villager. I have had no luck getting them to budge, Thank you, Jim

i'm not sure i never had to do that yet.but if you buy a repair book for that year,make and model it will show you.

They can be a PITA. They rust on. Try soaking it down with PB-blaster first and then smack the rotor between the wheel studs with either a plastic or copper hammer. I have had to put in ear plugs and beat them off with a hand sledge. They are scap iron at that point.

Ford dealers actually have a brake lathe that will turn down the rotors without removing them. They don't like taking the rotors off either. $75.00 apiece to turn down a rotor. :(

New rotors are better anyway. :)
