Air conditioner
I have a 1992 Mercury Tracer station wagon. When I start my engine, and than turn on the air conditioner, the engine turns off; could you please tell me the problem? Thank you.

Does the check engine light come on?

No, the light does not come on. The engine starts up again without a problem. Each time on start the air conditioner, the engine stalls.

This weekend, I was driving my care and accidentally hit the air conditioner button. The car stalled and the check your engine light did come on. As soon as I turned the air condition button off, the car stated.
