Hi,

I'm the original owner of the tracer. For the past two years the heater and a/c controls wouldn't always work when you moved the selector controls. Sometimes after a week of not working I would move the dials of the fan speed and defrost, heater, a/c selector around and the system would come back to life. Now it's not working at all. I can hear the baffles open under the dashboard when I move the selector to A/C mode but no air comes out. Do you think it's an electrical problem?

Thanks, Clark

When you say it doesn't work, do you mean the fan doesn't work or the air blows out the wrong area?

The fan doesn't work at all, none of the speeds low, medium or high don't work. No air movement at all on all the modes: a/c, defrost, vent, floor, panel/floor but I can feel with my hand a slight temperature change to my hand over the vents when the temperature selector is moved both on warm and cool. Thanks for the reply.

It sounds like the blower motor is the problem. What I need you to do is check the blower motor to see if it is getting power. It is under the dash on the passanger side and not real easy to get to.
