I am not sure what else can be wrong with my car. When I drive for long periods of time or when I drive fast my car will shut down and the battery light and all the other light will come on. Then my brakes will lock up. I have talk to many people about it. My car is not hot so it is not over heating. My rpms are normal. My car will just stall and the engine turn off. Some times it will start back up and be ok for a while then do it again other times it just does it once and it is ok. I am so confused. I got a new fuel filter for it thinking it might be cloged, some fuel injector cleaner that did not work. Thought it was a sensor so had some one check that out. So I dont know what else it could be. I just got a new fuel pump to. So I dont know help me out. Why does my car stall or shut off?

You may have an alternater that is not charging properly. Perhaps it is failing when the higher rpms are reached.

A shop, sometimes a parts store and sometimes a battery store can check it for you.
