sable dead

My battery died, I replaced it, then it did not charge, had the alternator tested , had to replace it, the car sat for 5 days with no power. Put the new alternator in have power but the engine will not even attemp to turn over. The alarm goes off when I open the door and I cannot stop it, it goes out after about 5 mins. I checked the fuses for the alternator and they are good. It is a 1997 sable 3.0 Any help would be greatly apprecieated.
