Theft light still stays on!

Hello, I was told to try and disconnect my battery to reset computer so my Theft light goes off. That did not work.
Any other suggestions? And is it possible for me to reset my Alarm System myself?
Thank-you for your time.

here are 2 things to try:
1) Use your key to manually unlock the driver's side door - sometimes this alone is enough to reset your security system.
2) Put your key in the ignition and turn to ON position (do not try to start the car, just turn to ON)- after 30 seconds, attempt to start the car and see if the security light goes out.

The car does start.
As for the second answer. The Theft light always did go off when I started my car.
The Theft Light Blinks only when I shut the car off.
And keeps on blinking.
Any other suggestions?
Thank-you so much for your time.

The first answer. Yes I am worried it will drain my battery.
It's a LED Light and it doesn't take that much from the battery.
But over time I am sure it will shorten the life of my battery.
No I have not talked to a Dealer.

As for the second answer. It is not in my Owners Manual.
Thanks Much for your time..
