Engine Performance problem
2001 Mercury Sable 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my engine idle drops when my ac is turned on. It has only been like this for a couple of weeks, if you can give me some advice on what you think it is before I have it serviced it would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a slow Idle Air Control Valve or it may need the throttle body serviced/ceaned. If the a/c isnt making any noises, it should be ok and it is an engine/computer problem.
