i got a 99 mercury sable, i was drivin down the freeway and all of a sudden i herd a knocking noise and the car started to lose power. it was not over heating at the time, and the oil level was fine. i left the car for a whille and it was fine, the noise had went away. but the water now smells like fuel a lil bit. and its not starting up with out me pushing on the gas.
