Squealing rear end, rough driving, bad acceleration

This started out as a major loud squealing from the rear end. Now the rear end vibrates and shakes and acceleration is bad. This started yesterday. I have added fluid to the transmission, not over filled. Shaking and bumpy driving accompanied by no power on acceleration and the vibration/bumpy shimmy from rear end gets worse on acceleration. Gears slip some and shift alot.

Yeah, it is the rear end that is having the problems, not the front end. I think the differential may be going?

There is no differential in the rear end unless this is an all wheel drive which you didn't state so have the bearings and suspension checked back there. If awd then have the diff checked. Does it hav fluid in it?
