2001 Mercedes Benz S500 door locks
Electrical problem
2001 Mercedes Benz S500 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 80000 miles
When my left front air shock failed, the next day the five year old battery went dead and the door locks would not work with the key entry clicker.
now, after replacing the left front air shock, nothing wrong with the air pump, the three doors other than the drivers door will lock with the button on the dash, but the clicker will not open or lock any of the doors.
is there a reset procedure needed after the battery is repalced.

Hi there,
The battery in the key may be to flat to operate the system, ask the dealer to check this for you.
