1989 Mazda Truck 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a mazda B-2200. What it is currently doing is failing to maintain ignition.

It will sound like the truck starts, but immedeately it dies. I have made repeated attempts but to no advail. And my fuel tank is currently full of gas.

Could this be a fuel pump issue or possibly an ignition problem?

Thanks for any advice.

Take the air intake off and spray startin fuild in the throtle bodie if it runs off the fluid its not gettin any spark could be spark plugs, wires, or coil pack.

If it does run off the fluid its not getting any fuel could be the fuel pump or filter

make sure the timing belt is not broken and the air filter is not clogged
