My car will start at times and then there r times when it wont start. I let it sit for a couple of hours or a single day then it will start. The check engine light was on and I had a scanner hooked up and it said that the o2 sensor was at fault. I replaced both sensors and it still does the same thing. This problem doesn't happen all the time but it seems to happen more frequently now. Please helpp.
Thank you,

Hi Wayne M. Heffner,

The O2 sensor should have noting to do with the engine not starting.

You have other problems affecting the starting and since it is not showing on the scanner and the O2 sensor is affected, it could be low fuel pressure or poor sparks.

When it don't start, you need to check for sparks and fuel pressure to confirm which is the factor to continue diagnosing.
