When the car goes over bump or on road which is not flat, there is noise from the rear passenger side, like clunking noise, (I am not sure how to describe the noise. I got the car's rear brake shoes and front brake pads replaced about one month ago. The noise has been there even before I did the replacement. The suspension was no problem when I did the replacement-- the guy in auto shop told me that when they performed the replacement.

I did the 71-point inspection right before I had the car's brake pads and shoes replaced. I was told nothing about the noise.

I am wondering what the problems can be.

Thank you so much!

Hi sunny0219,

Noise problems are something cyber diagnosis have difficulty dealing with.

We are not sure of the noise type, level, pitch and source so is not easy to give any suggestions.

Anyway, will try to give you some infor to followup.

If the noise clatters when going over uneven road sections and no visible wear of suspension arma and bushes, it most probably is caused by worn stabilizer bushes or links.

The noise would sound a little hollow.

I sent the car to an auto shop and they replaced the struts. Then the car is running fine.
Thank you!
