Evacuated the system after changing compressor orifice, and drier. Started charging the system but high side never went past 48 lbs. Flushed condenser. Still same. Not sure of my next step.

Hi and welcome to 2CarPros. Lets see what we can do to help you out.

As this is an unusual issue my first suggestion would be to test your gauges on another car and see if they read correctly. If they do, is your static pressure at at least the minimum for the system to operate? If that is yes, Is the clutch cycling?

Check these out and let me know what you find. Thanks, Rich

I checked my gauges which are accurate. But my high side connector is not working properly. If I push it on real hard I get a higher reading. So it is a manifold malfunction. Thanks for your help
