Hi,
My a/c will not run, In the under hood fuse box, the a/c fuse and ign-e fuse is blown. Looking a wire schematic from alldatadiy.com, the system has a diode between the a/c compressor enable relay and the a/c clutch. I have tried a known good relay in the enable and will still blow the fuse. After looking at the schematic I think it is a bad diode. It looks like that is the only place that it can be makeing a ground to hot.
The wire harnesses show no damage. If this is the case do you know where I can find the diode so I can replace it.
Thanks

you should be able to check the diode, but if the fuse is blown i'd think the clutch is drawing to much power being bad. as long as you are putting a circuit breaker so it doesn't fry anything else you should be fine to test it.
