My engine revs, it doesn't shift like it was and it is not getting up to speed like it was. It stutters and bogs and has a burning smell to it. Please help

Hi,

We need to check and see if there are any codes. There a number of things that can cause this but I attached a repair that is pretty common depending on the DTCs. If you don't have a scan tool then most parts stores can pull them free of charge.

This guide will help:

Let me know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks

Hi,

I attached the info for the P0231. Check the inertia switch and make sure it is not tripped. Then run though this diagram and I am sure you will find why it is not starting.

You mean you did all this and now the engine won't start? If this is the case, there has to be something that you touched is either not connected or not right. Are you able to pull codes again? If you have an open circuit code for one of these then that will point us in the right direction.
