The engine ia 4.6 liters. Driving milieage is 100000 plus addittional mileage. What causes squeaking while I'm driving? Sounds like it is coming from the left front wheel area. If you stop the vehiicle and rock it back and foward you can hear the squeak. Is it the wheel? The suspension? Need a lube Job? Or what? Is it safe to drive?

There are alot of things that can cause a "squeak" It sounds like there may be somethng loose in your suspension or steering and the sound is rusted metal on metal rubbing back and forth. This problem can be tracked by having one person rock the vehicle and spray any joint you can find with WD-40 or some other lubricant. If the sound stops after being sprayed you know where your problem is. Spring mounts, shock mounts, or sway bar mounts may need to be fixed but should not be dangerous. Tie rod ends, or ball joints can cause an accident. The later will usually cause a clunking not squeak.
