Hello,
I have a crack in my tail pipe about 2 foot before you get to the muffler. The crack is about half inch long, but water leaks out of this crack. Why does water leak from this crack and where is coming from? The car starts great and runs great right now but is this somthing to worry about? I can park car in my drive way and let it idle and water will leak from tail pipe. Thanks.

Hi there,

Water is produced by the combustion process, while the exhaust is cold the steam from this moisture will condense back into a liquid, look at cars on a cold morning when they first start up lots of steam, and water dripping from the exhaust, don't worry this is ok, but it is a sign that your exhaust is leaking.
