1991 Lincoln Mark VII brake accumulator
Brakes problem
1991 Lincoln Mark VII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic
I have replaced my accumulator twice now and because i could only find recycled or used parts , i cannot depend on the quality of the parts. Where can i find a manufactorer that makes a replacement for this item. Can i bypass this accumulator

The accumulator stores energy so the hydraulic pump motor won't have to come on every time you hit the brakes. If it was bypassed, I don't think the hydarulic pump motor, pressure switch & relay would last very long.
You wouldn't have ABS, but I've heard of people converting these things to normal vacuum boosted brakes.
