I replaced the knock sensors with su7012 instead of su7015 sensors. I was informed they are the same except the 7012 sensors are 3 inches longer. After replacing them, nothing has changed. Vehicle still runs rough and reads restricted performance along with engine light. When thermostat housing was changed hose was not connected and coolant ran out everywhere. Please tell me what the problem could be. Did I damage sensors when putting them in

If you overtorqued sensors then yes you damaged them but check wiring it could be that as well those codes are poor ground to block so check that especially if you put sealer on them also check ground to battery from engine and body
