1995 kia sephia 1.6 .98000 miles. replaced fuel filter, plugs, wires, rotor and cap several times recently because it has falied to start about every 2 weeks for the last 2 months. The motor runs smooth, no hesitatiion. When it does not start i remove the plugs to find them wet with gas. Compression was done...125, 175, 185, 165. This time it will not start with clean plugs. They keep getting wet with gas and soot. Runs very well for 2 weeks at a time. Out of options. Please respond. Thanks Adolfo

Quite wasting money on plugs and other items. The car doesn't want to run because of any electrical problem. It is getting gas but I would bet it is getting no spark during this no start period. Next time this happens, take an old plug and hook it to one of the plug wires and touch the firing tip to the engine block. Turn the engine over and look for a spark, a strong blue arc.
