The car was put into park, and immediately, the key was turned off and yanked from the ignition roughly. Now, when the key is inserted into the ignition, it will not turn. The steering wheel is locked but turning it will not unlock it nor free the ignition. There is no restriction, and the key is undamaged and clean. The battery is not dead and the shifter is safely in park. When the key is inserted, it still registers it's in there because the door beep sounds, and the dome light comes on. I don't know what to do.

Hello,

This sounds like you have a problem with your vehicle's steering wheel lock. In the diagrams down below I have included the instructions for the removal and installation of the steering wheel lock for your vehicle. Please go through this guide and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
