My key fob was working yesterday, then this morning I couldnt open my car with the key fob but the res light still flashes on the key so is not the battery. So I unlocked it with the key and pressed the button on the dash to stop the alarm and the car started so I could drive it. Then I tryes to drive it abit later and it wouldnt start kept cutting out so I dont know what to do now I need advice.

The problem could still be the battery in the fob because the light takes little voltage to work whereas the transmitter will need more to work properly. Sometimes the fob will just go out as small electronics do, do you have a spare fob? Pleas try that as well. Next, I would try to disconnect the the car battery for 2 minuets and then reconnect it, this will reset the alarm system. Please let me know what you find.

I would start by replacing the fob they go out all the time you can get one from the dealer which should come with programming instructions.
