I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. 1 year ago, the heat and ac would only work in the maximum position. I took it in to be fixed, and they said that there was something wrong with a component of the inside of the dial/switch. Now 6 months later, the heat/ac won't come on at ANY setting. Blower/fan doesn't switch on(whatever that is... I'm not very mechanically savvy!) Nothing! Any suggestions as to what this could be. Many Thanks! :)

Blower motor would be my guess, but would return to the same place and have them check it. Perhaps the heater control module? Went bad again.

I'm not an expert but I had the same exact thing happen to me in my wrangler. The fan speed switch is plastic, and it melted after years of use. First none of the lower settings, then nothing at all. The leads had shorted causing the switch to stop working and blowing the fuse for the blower. Replacing the switch and the fuse did the trick.
