Air Conditioning problem
2000 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I don't A/C in my jeep and the compressor is going bad. Can the compressor be removed and replaced with a kit that will replace it? Or can the belt be rerouted to away from the compressor

I think you are asking about just re routing your belt to by pass the ac clutch. Just go to the parts store and ask for a belt for your jeep w/o ac. Worst case is try this one to fit and you might have to go back and forth fitting a belt that will work. Not having to do this yet I am not sure about a bracket change. I do know that on some of the 4.1 chevy's there brackets are diff. So you have to find a belt that will actually work. Hope this helps Let us know Curt
