1983 Jeep CJ7 stalling

This car sat for 8 years in a garage. Tried to start, and had no gas to the carb. New fuel pump, fuel filter. And rebuilt the carter 2BBL card. Runs for about 3 minutes and dies suddenly. Hard to restart. When it starts again, will runs for a minute or two. Dies. Fiddle with the choke, closing intake, seems to start, wont keep running.

Try readjusting the air and fuel mixture/curb idle speed and also the choke opening and fast idle cam adjustment
