Cabin Air distribution

1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, 165K, 4.0L IL6
Cabin air only flows through defrost ducting, independent of switch position. Control module was replaced with no change. Next steps?

My friend had a 1989 Jeep Cherokee that had the same problem. His problem was the vacuum canister behind the front bumper on the passenger's side, it ad a hole in it and was not building up vacuum. Check that and the vacuum lines going from that to the firewall and eventually to you contol module. The vacuum canister is black plastic and about the size and shape of a kids football.
