Engine Cooling problem
2000 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

this jeep over heating I chang a thromstat and ran a compression check on all cyclinger and the ran 150 or more but I havent chang the water pump yet why is it over heating it take a while for it to overheat like 30 minutes

No where its acking like its coming back threw the radi

You could have any number of things wrong and a blown head gasket is one of them. A clogged radiator or bad water pump are also possible. You probably should have some chemical tests with an exhaust analyzer done on the coolant to determine if you have a bad head gasket or not.
