In the past week, my grand cherokee, when I tried to start it the car wouldnt even turn over, but when I turned the key off there was a clicking noise over under the glove compartment. When the clicking stopped the car started. Yesterday the car died when I was stopped at a red light and everything was dead, even the hazard lights. After about 30 seconds I got the car started and drove home no problems. This morning the car will turn over, but as soon as I let go of the key it dies, but the electrical is still working. Help!

I think you may have a problem with the voltage regulator, most cars now have the voltage regulator built in the alternator but I believe your vehicle has a stand alone regulator.
